Windows 11 DoH setup

Configure DNS-over-HTTPS in Windows 11 using the personal endpoint provided by your Koru Shield dashboard.

Use the personal configuration in your dashboard. Koru Shield does not provide plain DNS, DoT, or DoQ as customer setup methods.

Windows 11 DoH setup

Follow the steps for your device. Labels can vary by operating system version.

  1. Get your endpoint: Sign in at my.korushield.com, open Devices, then Add device, and choose Windows.
  2. Open network settings: Open Settings, then Network & internet. Choose Wi-Fi or Ethernet, then open your active connection properties.
  3. Set DNS manually: Next to DNS server assignment, choose Edit, select Manual, enable IPv4, and enter the values shown in your dashboard.
  4. Require encryption: Set DNS over HTTPS to On (manual template) and use the DoH template URL from your dashboard. Save, then verify in the dashboard.
