Android DoH setup

Android Private DNS uses DNS-over-TLS, which Koru Shield does not offer. Use a compatible DNS-over-HTTPS app or supported device profile from your dashboard.

Use the personal configuration in your dashboard. Koru Shield does not provide plain DNS, DoT, or DoQ as customer setup methods.

Android DoH setup

Follow the steps for your device. Labels can vary by operating system version.

  1. Get your endpoint: Sign in at my.korushield.com, open Devices, then Add device, and select Android.
  2. Choose a DoH client: Follow the Android walkthrough in your dashboard and install a compatible DNS-over-HTTPS client if your device does not support DoH profiles natively.
  3. Enter your personal endpoint: Copy the exact DoH URL or profile details shown in your dashboard. Device makers and client apps use different labels.
  4. Verify: Enable the profile in the client, then check device status in your dashboard and visit a site to confirm connectivity.
