Where Koru Shield is going.
A public roadmap means you can hold us to it. Everything below is labeled honestly: live now, or planned.
Live now
Encrypted DNS filtering
Every lookup over DNS-over-HTTPS. Plain port-53 DNS refused. Unlinked clients get an explicit refusal, never a silent pass-through.
Threat and scam blocking
Malware, phishing, scams, cryptomining, and botnet domains blocked from curated threat intelligence feeds.
Dashboard with per-device profiles
Real-time logs, per-device analytics, custom allow and block lists, and plain-language block pages.
Family schedules
Homework-time focus windows, bedtime shutoffs, and looser weekend rules, attached to any profile and applied automatically.
On the roadmap
AI assistant connectors: manage protection conversationally
A single MCP server that lets you manage your family's protection from the AI assistants you already use: Muse, ChatGPT, Claude, Grok, and Dots. Ask to tighten a filter, check what was blocked today, or set up a new device, in plain language.
Guardian Shield: lookalike-site detection
AI that spots typosquatted and lookalike domains before they load, with a plain-language explanation and a family alert. Scams evolve daily; this is how we stay ahead of them.
Anomaly detection: DGA and beaconing
Machine learning that flags domain-generation algorithms and command-and-control beaconing patterns, the signals of compromised devices calling home. Built on our threat-research program.
Family controls: screen-time reports, age templates
Age-based filter templates and screen-time reports per child. Schedules, per-device profiles, and SafeSearch are live today.
Prosumer tooling: split-horizon DNS, API, IoT fingerprinting
For home labs and small offices: split-horizon DNS for local hostnames, a full API, longer analytics retention, and IoT device fingerprinting with a threat-research feed.
Independent privacy and security audit
A third-party audit of our privacy claims and infrastructure, published in full when complete. Until then, we will not claim certifications we do not have.
More regions
Two US regions today (Northern Virginia, Oregon). EU expansion is next, and we will say exactly where your data lives as we grow.
