Router DoH setup

A router can protect many devices at once when its firmware supports DNS-over-HTTPS with a custom endpoint. Menu names vary by model and firmware.

Use the personal configuration in your dashboard. Koru Shield does not provide plain DNS, DoT, or DoQ as customer setup methods.

Router DoH setup

Follow the steps for your device. Labels can vary by operating system version.

  1. Check support: Open your router documentation or admin page and confirm it supports custom DNS-over-HTTPS, not only standard DNS or DNS-over-TLS.
  2. Use your personal endpoint: Sign in at my.korushield.com and copy the router-compatible DoH URL and settings for your account.
  3. Configure carefully: Enter the DoH endpoint in the router DNS-over-HTTPS section, save, and restart the connection if the manufacturer recommends it.
  4. Verify each device: Reconnect a phone or computer to the network, then check activity in your dashboard. If the router lacks DoH support, use the individual device guides.
